A landscape by Paul Cezanne, could become the most expensive painting in history. This painting is going for more than $82 million, currently the highest price ever paid for art at auction. The painting, "Le Montagne St.Victoire," is a masterpiece depicting a landmark promontory visible from most parts of Provence, the artist's native region. It is one of the stars of a sale of impressionist masterworks from the collection of Heinz Berggruen, and is considered one of the finest in the world.
